Chelsea player now playing for his future at the club in second half of the season

Chelsea striker Liam Delap is now reportedly fighting for his future at the club in the second half of the Premier League season.

Delap has struggled at the club since joining from Ipswich Town in the summer transfer window. In addition to his outstanding performance on the field, he also suffered from injuries off the field.

I think Delap is a good forward, but I’m starting to wonder if he’s a good fit for a team that’s more about transition than possession. He seems to be really struggling to adapt to Chelsea’s style of play. But maybe he can grow up and get used to it a little? Well, obviously he has half a season to prove he can, otherwise Chelsea are looking to sell him…

Liam Delap’s former suitors are keeping a close eye on developments at Stamford Bridge, with TEAMtalk reporting that the striker is effectively fighting for his future at Chelsea in the second half of the season.

Manchester United, Newcastle United and Everton were all pushing to sign him ahead of his move to Stamford Bridge, with all three clubs clearly monitoring the situation should Chelsea decide to listen to offers. Reports also claim that other clubs such as Brighton and Sunderland are also paying attention.
