Each seeded team is drawn into one of two positions in the last 16 against the relevant winner of the knockout play-offs, with their position determined by the knockout play-off draw.
Four bowls were drawn and balls containing the names of each pair of seeded teams were placed in the corresponding marked bowls based on league standings.
The draw will assign all seeded teams to a side of the bracket, starting with the teams ranked 7/8 and ending with the teams ranked 1/2.
A ball is drawn from the bowl containing the two relevant ranked teams (i.e. the 7th and 8th ranked teams) and opened to reveal the teams. The first team drawn from this bowl is placed in a reserved spot on the silver side of the bracket. The other seeded team in the pairing will then be drawn and revealed and assigned to the corresponding reserved spot on the blue side of the bracket. The same procedure is followed for the remaining seeded teams.

Champions League Round of 16 – Road to the Final
Since the draw for the knockout play-offs and the round of 16 determines the team’s ranking, the draw and match order have been determined based on the team’s ranking in previous rounds.
Teams advancing from the round of 16 will follow the bracket path through to the finals and, as in previous rounds, the last row of teams paired in each match will play the second leg of the relevant match at home.
The winner of the silver medal side of the semi-finals will be designated as the nominal home team for the final.
