The Cleveland Cavaliers announced Monday that rookie guard Tyrese Proctor will miss at least the next three games due to a strained right quadriceps.
Proctor has missed the past five games with the injury and will not be with the team on their road trip that begins Tuesday in Milwaukee. He will continue to receive treatment and rehab, and the team will update his return status at its discretion.

The Cavaliers also said center Jarrett Allen, who has missed the past five games with right knee tendonitis, will not travel with the team. Additionally, Craig Porter Jr. will miss 1-3 weeks after straining his left groin on Friday.
Proctor averaged 4.8 points, 1.3 assists and 1 rebound in 42 games while shooting 33.6% from three-point range. He has scored in double figures seven times, including a season-high 17 points, three assists and two rebounds on November 7.
The 21-year-old started for the Cavaliers on December 19 and had 16 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in a loss to the Chicago Bulls. He earned the distinction in part because of his ball-handling ability and versatility in the backcourt.
Proctor hasn’t played all year, but the Australian has impressed the team with his ability and work ethic. He and the team hope to return to the court as soon as possible as the team looks to solidify its playoff status in the upcoming games.
