Caitlin Clark is the 6th highest paid woman athlete according to report

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark will earn $16.1 million in 2025, according to Sportico. According to media reports, she is the sixth-highest-paid female athlete. That’s up from $11.1 million last year, making her the 10th-highest-paid female athlete.

Clark has $16 million in endorsement income and a salary of $114,000. It’s not uncommon for female athletes to earn much more from endorsements than their salary — 70% of the top 15 athletes earn from endorsements, according to Sportico — but Clark’s 99.3% is certainly eye-catching and something the WNBA must address to some extent in its current collective bargaining agreement negotiations. Clark’s base salary is $78,066, with additional pay earned as the Heat won the Commissioner’s Cup ($30,000) and reached the semifinals ($3,435), while she received $2,575 for being named to the All-Star team, Sportico reported.

Due to various injuries, Clark played only 13 games last season.

Clark is the WNBA’s highest-paid player; overall, she trails Coco Gauff ($31 million), Aryna Sabalenka ($30 million), Iga Swiakek ($23.1 million), Eileen Gu ($23 million) and Zheng Qinwen ($20 million). Nelly Korda is right behind Clark with $11 million.

Clark’s sponsors include Gatorade, State Farm, Wilson, Panini America, Hy-Vee, Xfinity, Gainbridge and Lilly, according to Sportico.
