With only a handful of spots available for the men’s or women’s Royal Rumble each year, there’s always debate over who should or shouldn’t be left out of the match. The same debate is happening at the 2026 Royal Rumble PLE, although it mostly has to do with the talent on “WWE NXT” or AAA. But as usual, two-time Hall of Famer Bree Ray sees the matter a little differently than everyone else.
On Monday’s episode of “Busted Open Radio,” Bully claimed that one person would be left out of the men’s Royal Rumble match, and that person was the last person to enter the match and be eliminated.

“If I were to say anything, I wouldn’t vote for Gunther at the Rumble,” Bulley said. “I want the last guy, the last thing I want people to remember is AJ’s elimination…AJ’s defeat. Now, they’re going to show GUNTHER beating AJ multiple times. They’re going to remind us of that. But you can’t remind us who he eliminated last without reminding us that Roman won. So GUNTHER will always be a part of that reminder.
“You’ll see the footage of Roman knocking out Gunther, but you might not hear Gunther’s name, you’ll hear them talking about Roman winning. When they remind us of Gunther and AJ, they’ll remind you that Gunther knocked AJ out and AJ had to retire. I just don’t… Right now, what I really love is the uncertainty that comes with 30, because when Gunther came out with 30, I did say to myself ‘Oh my God. “Dave what did we talk about last Friday? We talked about GUNTHER having a chance to retire AJ and win the Rumble. Wow, what a great night this would be for Gunther. So they definitely got me thinking about that.”
