Buccaneers land dominant SEC defender in latest 2026 NFL Mock Draft

The 2026 NFL Draft will be held in Pittsburgh next April, and the Buccaneers succeeded in a preseason game in the city by beating the Steelers with a last-second field goal. Leading up to April, though, there will be a lot of speculation and building around the team and who they might add to the roster via the draft.

PFF’s Max Chadwick recently released his latest 2026 NFL mock draft cycle. Among them, the Buccaneers have Auburn edge rusher Keldric Faulk. This is a new name the Bucs are seeing in mock drafts and one that should get fans excited based on his skill set.

Zierlein explained Faulk’s selection, writing: “The Buccaneers ranked seventh in team PFF pass-rushing grade this season but only ranked 23rd in PFF running back grade. While Faulk has a lot of work to do as a pass rusher, he has posted an excellent 89.2 PFF running back grade the past two years. He can serve as an edge defender or inside in Todd Bowles’ 3-4 defense.”

Faulk is one of the few players who has been a reliable rusher and run defender every year. PFF wasn’t great, but he was able to defend the run, leading to flashes of brilliance, which is needed based on the team’s current build.
