Buc-ee’s building new store close to, but not in, Georgia. Here’s where

Buc-ee’s fans eagerly awaited the opening of new Brunswick stores last year, especially the one near Savannah. Now they can’t wait for their next program, and while there hasn’t been much news in Georgia, there’s a program in South Carolina that deserves attention.

Will Savannah get another Buckeye? Where will it be?

A new Buc-ee’s is planned for Hardeeville in Jasper County, about 25 minutes up Interstate 95 from the Savannah area. It will occupy 46 acres within the larger Hardee Station development at Exit 8 of Interstate 95 and the intersection of U.S. Highways 278 and 17.

Once completed, it’s only 20-30 miles from the Savannah area, depending on where you live. Currently, the closest location is in Brunswick, more than 60 miles away.

Buc-ee’s Eyes Jasper County Hardeeville

The Hardeeville Buc-ee’s location in Jasper County is expected to include dozens of fuel pumps and electric vehicle charging stations to serve both traditional and eco-friendly travelers. According to multiple media reports, key features include a bicycle plaza and several scenic ponds to enhance the visitor experience.
