The Cleveland Browns dealt with a serious injury against the Tennessee Titans.
The Browns lost starting wide receiver Cedric Tillman in the fourth quarter. Tillman was hit hard on the head and suffered a concussion. Tillman was trying to make a tough catch over the middle when Titans safety Xavier Woods bumped his shoulder into Tillman’s helmet. Tillman was immediately knocked to the ground and began fencing. Browns and Titans players flagged down medical staff to come to the field immediately after the game. The referee threw a flag to Woods for targeting. The free throw helped the Browns expand their offense. They then scored six points to cut the Titans’ lead from 14 to eight.

The Browns lack the receiving talent to lose a valuable starter like Tillman. Tillman has battled various injuries throughout the season. Tillman is a valuable receiver for the Browns. He is the team’s biggest target. They need Tillman to build trust with the young quarterback on the field. Hopefully Tillman can return to the Browns next week against the Chicago Bears.
