NEW YORK (AP) — Dillon Brooks scored 27 points, Devin Booker scored 23 and the Phoenix Suns beat the Brooklyn Nets 126-117 on Monday night.
Colin Gillespie scored 22 points and Grayson Allen scored 14 points off the bench for the Suns, who have won five of their last seven games. Mark Williams had 16 points and 8 rebounds.

Phoenix shot 57% (44-of-77) from the field, including 51% (20-of-39) from long range.
The Suns led by as many as 20 points in the first half and led by 17 points with 9:08 left in the fourth quarter before the Nets launched a counterattack.
Brooklyn’s Noah Clowney went on a 19-6 three-point run to cut the deficit to 118-114 with 4:01 left in regulation. Brooks then responded with a three-pointer, but was called for a technical foul after contact with Michael Porter Jr.
Clowney hit a technical free throw, and then Allen found Royce O’Neal open on the wing for a three-pointer to make it 124-115 and put the game out of reach.

Porter scored 23 points to lead the struggling Nets to one win in their past eight games. Clowney scored 16 points and substitute Ziaire Williams scored 15 points.
The Nets started the season with 3 wins and 16 losses, went on to record 7 wins and 4 losses in December, and lost 9 of 11 games in January.
On the second night of a back-to-back, Brooklyn rested rookie guards Egor Demin, who suffered a left plantar fascia injury in the summer, and Cam Thomas, who missed 20 games with a strained left hamstring. Backup center Daron Sharpe missed the game due to illness.
