bonnie blue Even after her arrest in Bali, she didn’t back down, and her first public comments made that abundantly clear.
The 26-year-old adult content creator, whose real name is Tia Billinger, has broken her silence after being arrested in Bali for allegedly violating local ethics laws. She sent the five-word message as she was escorted to the Ngurah Rai immigration office in Jimbaran, where a reporter asked her if she planned to continue creating explicit content in Bali. Her answer was simple: “Subscribe and you’ll find out.”
Indonesian authorities arrested Billinger in a raid on a rented studio last Thursday and could face up to 15 years in prison or a £270,000 fine under the country’s strict anti-pornography laws. Police said she and a group of male tourists – at least 17 men aged 19 to 40 from the UK and Australia – had been filming explicit content on the island. The group reportedly traveled together on a chartered bus during Australia’s “Students Week”, which locals dubbed the “explosion bus”.
Authorities said they seized cameras, lighting equipment, clothing, condoms, pink necklaces, lubricants and even Viagra during the raids. Billinger was released a short time later but her passport was confiscated and she remains under investigation as officials review evidence and determine possible next steps. Immigration officials told local media they still needed to “follow up on several matters uncovered by police” and the possibility of deportation remained.
Fourteen detained tourists were released without charge, while two Britons and an Australian man were held longer for further questioning. Police said the group was suspected of producing “content containing pornographic or immoral elements”. As for the much-discussed bus, Billinger later confirmed in a video that the project was “over.”
Meanwhile, Australian creators Anne Knight told MailOnline she had previously warned Billinger about the risks of filming explicit content in Bali. “I did try to warn her about the consequences of filming porn in Bali,” she said. “That being said, I hope she’s okay because being arrested in another country must be a horrific experience and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.”
Billinger has never shied away from controversy. Earlier this year she made headlines after being banned from OnlyFans and appearing in Channel 4’s documentary 1,000 Men and Me, in which she claimed to have slept with 1,057 men in 12 hours. Now, she is in the spotlight again as authorities in Bali decide their next steps.
