Bills’ updated 2026 NFL Draft picks following pair of trades

Wednesday, March 11 marked the first day of the 2026 NFL season — as it’s affectionately labeled, the new league year. It’s the first day that all free agents around the league can sign on the dotted line, and it’s also the first day that teams can officially announce deals agreed upon during the offseason. For the Buffalo Bills, this will be the finishing touches on a pair of trades.

The first order of business is completing the acquisition of wide receiver DJ Moore and a 2026 fifth-round pick from the Chicago Bears in exchange for Buffalo’s 2026 second-round pick. Additionally, the team traded long-time cornerback Talon Johnson and a 2026 seventh-round pick to the Las Vegas Raiders in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round pick.

With these trades officially making their way through the NFL Network, here’s a look back at what the Bills are doing ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft:

-No. 26 (first round)
-No. 91 (Third round)
-No. 126 (fourth round)
-No. 165 (CHI Round 5)
-No. 168 (fifth round)
-No. 182 (Vegas sixth round)
-No. 220 (seventh round)

Obviously, that could change between now and the draft, which begins on April 23. But currently Buffalo will use seven picks. For a team in need of a safety to pair with Cole Bishop to lock down new defensive coordinator Jim Leonard’s backline, there isn’t a lot of ammunition right now.
