Bill Maher delivered a blunt message to those who continue to hate President Donald Trump during a conversation with him. Full house Starring John Stamos.
On the Dec. 29 episode of Maher’s Club random podcast Live with Bill Maher The host and Stamos talked about a lot of topics. Stamos, 62, mentioned that Maher, 69, had dinner with Trump, 79, at the White House.
“I would say he’s very different,” Maher said of meeting the U.S. president in person. “Maybe I’m a Trump whisperer. But I think we would do better if more people like me talked to him. He’s not averse to talking to people.”
The late-night host added, “He’s a guy from New York, okay? He doesn’t want to be around a bunch of f**king rednecks and fools. Does he like ass-slapping people? Yeah, he does. So, there’s always going to be people like that around.”
Additionally, Maher noted, “This is something we’ve never seen before, where one person dominates the country…for more than a decade.”
Stamos echoed, “Every conversation, every dinner, every damn thing.”
“I do think you have to fight it,” Maher urged. “Like I said, if that’s your whole personality, the first thing out of your mouth is ‘What are we going to do to Donald Trump?’ I just can’t do it.”
At this point Stamos interjected: “You don’t have an answer.” Maher agreed. “But people think you do.”
“I can’t get rid of these people,” Maher lamented.
On March 31, the stand-up comedian had dinner with the President of the United States, UFC President Dana White and Kid Rock. He later addressed the meeting in a monologue in April. real time.
In a December interview with the Free Press, Maher expressed his views on Trump’s critics. “I really have no use for people who are totally Donald Trump and how much they hate Trump…like, ‘Oh, shut the fuck up,'” he declared. “You know, first of all, he didn’t really impact everyone’s lives at all. He impacted a lot of lives, some of them very badly.”
Maher went on to share what he believes to be Trump’s best political move.
