For the second straight season, the Oregon Ducks will look to eliminate all distractions and win a College Football Playoff game on New Year’s Day. They’ve already won their matchup with the Texas Tech Red Raiders and are trying to end this game with a much different result than last season’s 41-21 defeat.
The quarterfinals will be a unique experience for the Ducks as it will be played under neutral conditions. No one has true home field advantage, so these two incredible fan bases have to perform for their teams and give them a little advantage.

Given that neither side has a clear advantage, this makes FanDuel Sportsbook’s betting lines on the game even more attractive. Currently, Oregon State is minus-1 1/2 points, while their moneyline odds are nearly even at minus-125 points. Since the total score is 52 1/2, that means bettors think these two teams are as close as possible.
The Ducks and Red Raiders both rank in the top 10 nationally in total defense and are nearly identical in total offense, with Oregon finishing just outside the top 10 at No. 11. Both teams are elite on both sides of the ball, and they also happen to have some of the best coaching staffs in the country.
The Ducks need to be ready for this to be a really close game.
