The Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens play again after their Thanksgiving game 17 days ago. Then again, these teams are no strangers to short-term turnarounds. Just a few years ago, Cincinnati and Baltimore met in the final week of the season before playing again in the wild-card round. The Bengals won both games.
The Bengals hope to repeat this history, as it will keep their slim playoff hopes alive (as long as the Pittsburgh Steelers also lose). Then again, just sweeping the Ravens might have been a bittersweet treat in a lost season.

The Ravens’ situation isn’t much better. They lost to the Steelers last week. They enter Thanksgiving with a chance to really contain the division. Instead, they fell behind the Steelers again.
Quarterback Lamar Jackson has been in a real funk the past few weeks. Last week was the first time he had multiple touchdowns in a game since late October against the Miami Dolphins. The team was still able to win three of those five games. However, in order to win these AFC North games, he needs to get better. We’ll see if Cincinnati’s defense is up to the challenge again.

Cincy Jungle Forecast: This team is coming off a very disappointing loss, which adds to the six games they have every reason to believe they will win. It’s also easy to recognize that this team has been different since Burrow returned. The defense kept shutting down and the offense kept humming.
Many will point to the two men’s five turnovers in the Thanksgiving game as the reason the Bengals can’t win this game again. There were a lot of flukes in that game that led to the Ravens’ scoring loss. However, you can also look at the fact that the Bengals struggled to get into the end zone for most of the game, which is why the score was so close.

It’s also worth noting that Ty Higgins didn’t play in this game last time. It seems likely that he’ll play this week, but even if he doesn’t, Burrow is nowhere near as rusty as he was early in the game.
The game remained close, but the Bengals completed a sweep of the Ravens to potentially keep their playoff hopes alive. The Bengals won 30-28.
