Big changes may be brewing in downtown New Braunfels. Two of the region’s most prominent nightlife anchors are now quietly testing the waters.
Pour Haus Bar and Downtown Social have been listed for sale as a combined operation with an asking price of $4.5 million. Operating under shared ownership and management, these historic venues have helped shape the city’s modern entertainment scene with live music, bowling, private events and spacious indoor and outdoor gathering spaces.
No timetable for the sale has been announced, and both companies are continuing business as usual during the listing process.

Pour Haus first opened in December 2012 and was founded by partners Tim White and Mike Keyser. The open-air patio bar quickly gained a loyal following with its nightly live music and patio atmosphere. In May 2017, the ownership group expanded into Downtown Social, restoring the historic Gerlich Motor Company building (an early Ford car dealership in Texas, known for its large basement and vehicle elevator that was once used to assemble and display cars), transforming it into a multi-level entertainment venue.
Downtown Social features a commercial kitchen, bar, bowling alley, dedicated stage and flexible space for private events and group events. Over the years, the combined platform has added trivia nights, sports viewing entertainment and, most recently, a rooftop bar at Pour Haus in early 2023.
According to the listing, the venues’ model is largely beverage-focused, with about 85 percent alcohol and 15 percent food, benefiting from locals and tourists as well as daytime and late-night crowds.
The offering includes operating business and shared systems, and ownership includes 30 days of support and training for new buyers. MySA contacted the venue for comment.
