Jester’s Dive Bar in Rio Grande closed permanently Saturday after four years in business.
Owners Bill and Megan Bumbernick confirmed the closure of the Route 9 waterhole in a social media post this week.
The couple is selling the property and have decided to close the popular spot known for its cold draft beer, chicken wings and entertainment.

“Say goodbye this week and join us on Saturday for The Last Dance with Misguided and DJ Brother Mike. Let’s get out and laugh, dance, and maybe cry a little,” the owners wrote.
Ahead of its final night on Saturday, the bar’s Google listing said it was “permanently closed.”
The Bumbernicks also own The Surfing Pig and The Swine Bar in North Wildwood.
