The Chicago Bears made some roster changes ahead of their wild-card playoff game against the Green Bay Packers. First, they activated Kyler Gordon from injured reserve to the 53-man roster. Groden’s return comes at a good time, as his replacement at nickel, C.J. Gardner-Johnson, is out with concussion symptoms. Gordon has played in just three games this season, but the Bears have won all three.
The Bears have an opening on the active roster, so they don’t need to release anyone to accommodate a trade.

Offensive lineman Braxton Jones also entered the 21-day practice window and remains on injured reserve, technically downgrading him to miss the game.
Chicago also promoted tight end Nikola Kalinic and linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin from the practice squad to the active roster.
We’ll learn which players are active in the game 90 minutes before kickoff at 7:00 PM Central Time, so stay tuned.
