It was a big night at the United Center on Monday night as the Chicago Blackhawks welcomed back Jonathan Toews to the building where he became a legend on the road for the first time.
But Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams stole the show with his presence on the first row of the ice. After a brutal 20-17 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the divisional playoffs, Williams stayed in town to support another Chicago star, Blackhawks center Connor Bedard.

It was a star-studded night, with Williams wearing a Bedard jersey and joining Chicago Cubs star Pete Crow-Armstrong.
Williams is completing his second season in the NFL and has shown tremendous growth both on and off the field. Not only did Williams set multiple NFL records, including seven fourth-quarter comebacks in a single season and becoming the Bears’ all-time leading passer, but he also helped lead Chicago to its first NFC North title since 2018 and its first playoff win since 2011.
Part of Williams’ success off the field is his willingness to be a valued member of the community. The crowd was almost as enthusiastic about him as they were about Toews, who won three championships while playing in Chicago.

This brief moment proved that winning in a city like Chicago can make you a legend forever. You can bet this won’t be the last time Williams celebrates with fans, and he has plenty of great football ahead of him.
