The Chicago Bears are preparing for a Week 17 primetime game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night with a chance to win the NFC North title for the first time since 2018.
The Bears did not practice Thursday, so they shared injury estimates that did not include many of Wednesday’s updates. Wide receiver Rome Odunze and linebacker TJ Edwards were listed as non-participants on Thursday, while receiver Luther Burden III was again listed as restricted, as were safety Kevin Byard, center Drew Dalman, nickel cornerback CJ Gardner-Johnson and cornerback Nahshon Wright. Several players are out with illness, including linebacker DeMarco Jackson, receiver Devin DuVernay, cornerback Nick McLeod and now cornerback Josh Blackwell.
