Bayern Munich centre-back Kim Min-jae is rumored to be open to a move this summer (depending on what you want to believe, other reports refute the notion that he wants out), which could open up a roster spot for the Bavarians.

Assuming Dayot Upamecano ends up signing a new contract (which the team believes will happen soon), a capable third member of the center back group may be needed to pair with Upamecano and Jonathan Tah.
Could that player be Manchester City’s John Stones – Harry Kane’s England colleague and former team-mate of Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany?
perhaps:
This summer it could be the end of an era for Manchester City, as I’m now hearing major doubts about one of their long-standing star players, as well as continued speculation surrounding Guardiola.
As first reported by the Daily Brief, it looks increasingly unlikely that John Stones will be offered a new contract, with his current deal at the Etihad Stadium set to expire at the end of the season, according to my sources.
There seems to be a consensus that it’s time for City and Stones to part ways, with a number of suitors possibly already making early links to test out the player. Technically, the 31-year-old is already free to talk to clubs abroad, with a number of sources naming him as potential destinations in Europe.
One name that comes up regularly is Bayern Munich, who are keen to explore cheap options to bolster their defensive depth.
“Bayern are already starting to move behind the scenes to convince Stones,” a source said. “His old team-mate Vincent Kompany could be key, as could another England player, Harry Kane, but no final decision will be made just yet.”
If Kim leaves (which is probably a big if), there will be a void. While Casciano Chiara is an interesting prospect, he is not thought to be ready for such a role, so the Bavarians may have to enter the open market. Stones could be an interesting addition as an experienced player on a free transfer.

Stones’ current total financial package (salary + bonuses) for Capology is €18.6 million, and he may need to take a salary cut to join Bayern Munich.
What do you think?
FC Nuremberg has renewed the contract of former Bayern Munich and Germany national team star and team coach Miroslav Klose:
Nuremberg ranks 10th in the Bundesliga standings with 7 wins, 5 draws and 9 losses. Klose coached at Bayern Munich from 2018 to 2021. He served as head coach of the U-17 youth team from 2018 to 2020, before becoming an assistant coach under Hansi Flick in the 2020/21 season. Klose left Bayern Munich in May 2021 amid a mass exodus of coaching staff.

Real Madrid want Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Vitinha but will opt for AZ Alkmaar’s Keith Smit instead.
Smit has been linked with a number of clubs, including Bayern Munich:
According to “AS”, Real Madrid is making plans for next season and regards Paris Saint-Germain’s Vitinha as the primary target, with Alkmaar’s Keith Smit as a backup plan. Real Madrid are looking to shake up their squad as they launch a dual attack on La Liga and the Champions League, and Vitinha is considered a player with important leadership qualities. The 27-year-old is contracted until 2029 and appears happy in the French capital, which could complicate Real Madrid’s interest. The 19-year-old Smit will be easier to promote, but his article isn’t done yet. Madrid are already planning to build on the return of Enderrick and Nico Paez from their loan spells.
Liverpool are reportedly eyeing AC Milan star Christian Pulisic, whose contract expires in 2027:
Liverpool are monitoring Christian #Pulisic. His contract expires in 2027 (4 million + 1 million bonus), even if #ACMilan can unilaterally choose to extend until 2028. Pulisic is happy with #Milan but expects a contract extension that Milan have never offered so far. #transfer#LFC
Former Bayern Munich striker and current Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski will have no shortage of options if he leaves the club this summer.

Chicago Fire, AC Milan, Atletico Madrid, Fenerbahce and the Saudi Professional League are all interested in the Polish hitman:
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski has received significant offers from Chicago Fire, AC Milan, Atletico Madrid, Fenerbahce and the Saudi Professional League before his contract expires this summer. The 37-year-old is calm about his future and will not make a decision until April, when he will review offers from Barca as well as those elsewhere. Lewandowski will prioritize Barcelona based on the offers he receives, but is more focused on stability and family happiness than the finances of a deal.
It must be nice to be Mo Salah. The Liverpool star’s salary could be about to triple:
Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah could see his wages triple to £1.2m-a-week if he moves to Al Nasr in the summer as Cristiano Ronaldo’s replacement, according to The Mirror. If the 33-year-old can be persuaded to leave Liverpool after nine years at the club, he will become the new face of the Saudi Professional League. The SPL are keen to replace Cristiano Ronaldo, who has threatened to abandon his contract with Al Nasr because of what he believes is a bias in the transfer market towards Al Hilal. The Portugal legend is on the verge of scoring 1,000 goals but may return to Europe to achieve the feat. He has been linked with an emotional return to Sporting Lisbon.
