Robert Lewandowski has spoken openly about his future at Barcelona, clarifying his mindset at this stage of his career where every decision naturally carries extra weight.
Rather than shying away from the topic, the Barcelona forward answered the question calmly and confidently, making it clear that uncertainty does not mean worry.

With his contract running until the end of the season, Lewandowski stressed there is no urgency to his next step.
In fact, he said he felt no pressure from the situation and saw no immediate issues that needed to be addressed.
“There’s still time to make a decision. I don’t feel any pressure, I don’t know which way to go right now.” he said.

Lewandowski subsequently dismissed the idea that outside influence or financial discussions would affect his future.
He is clear that his decision will not be driven by interest from other clubs or wage-related compromises.

“I’m not talking to the coach about things that other clubs might be interested in. It’s not a matter of cutting my salary in half.
“The decision will depend on what the club wants and what I think is best.”

Instead of lowering his expectations because of his age, he made it clear that his ambitions have not changed and he is determined to become elite.
“I want it all: qualify for the World Cup, win the league and the Champions League.
“I know I’m at the end of my career but I still have high ambitions.”
Finally, the Barcelona number 9 made a positive comment about the team’s current direction.
“There has been a clear improvement. Everything is a bit more stable, which helps the team perform better. The atmosphere in the dressing room is good.” he concluded.
