Barcelona may be making a crucial contract decision involving Robert Lewandowski, with early signs suggesting the striker has made up his mind.
According to the latest news from Mundo Deportivo, Lewandowski’s first priority is to stay at Barcelona, even if it means making significant personal sacrifices.

Despite being in the latter stages of his career, the Polish striker is not looking elsewhere for his final big paycheck.
Instead, he was willing to take a lower salary or even accept a more limited role in the team, a clear indication of his desire to remain involved with the project under Hansi Flick.
The development comes as Lewandowski approaches the final months of his contract and has already received several offers.
His agent comes to visit
Speculation has persisted about super-agent Pini Zahavi’s recent visit to the city, especially given that he represents Lewandowski and Flick.

However, reports suggest his trip was unrelated to contract discussions.

Instead, Zahavi came to Barcelona primarily to support his long-term partner Joan Laporta following his recent presidential election victory.
No formal talks were held during that visit about Lewandowski’s future, or even Flick’s.
There is no shortage of suitors
Even so, Lewandowski is not short of options, as interest from the Chicago Fire continues to grow, while clubs in Saudi Arabia are also keeping an eye on his situation.

These offers, although financially attractive, have not changed the mindset of players.
Lewandowski, who turns 38 in August, knows his role will change but his willingness to make financial and tactical adjustments shows how much he appreciates the club and the city.
As for Barcelona, Laporta has expressed his desire to keep the striker. However, the situation remains unresolved as negotiations have not yet taken place.
