At just 15 years, 11 months and 15 days old, Tunkara made his debut for Atlético in the postponed Segunda Division 3 match against Castellón B.
This appearance made him one of the youngest players ever to appear in a match for the reserve team.
a special moment
In the 81st minute, Tongkara replaced Kluivert, and Barcelona was trailing 1-2.
The game finally ended 2-2, and the youngster almost wrote a more dramatic script.
In the final move of the game, he rose to meet a cross and hit the crossbar with a powerful header.
The referee narrowly ruled the move offside, denying him a chance at a sensational win.
This is not his first experience with a protected area environment. Back in January, he had already played 53 minutes in a friendly match against Qiaoliu Camp.

Soon after, he officially committed to Barcelona until 2029, a contract that will take effect when he turns 16 on March 10.
Who is Ebrima Tunkara?
Born in 2010, he joined La Masia in the 2018-19 season after his father, Abdul Tunkara, moved from The Gambia to settle in Spain.
Unlike many of today’s young talents, he spent much of his development without representation before eventually working with Pini Zahavi’s agency.
Tunkara possesses physical advantages and technical talent and is a natural inside midfielder, but is also used on the wing for tactical reasons.
This season, he has represented the Youth A team in four European Youth League games.
