Auburn Tigers tight end Brandon Frazier will head to Hawaii to play the final college football game of his career. On Friday, news broke that Frazier had accepted an invitation to play in the Hula Bowl, which will be held on Jan. 10.
The Hula Bowl is the annual college football all-star game featuring college football seniors and international players looking to impress scouts at the professional level. The NFL isn’t the only league that scouts for the game, with other leagues such as the CFL and UFL also scouting players. The Hula Bowl was first created in 1946, dividing players into two different teams and playing primarily under NFL rules. Despite the name, the tournament will be held in DeLand, Florida, and has been held in the sunshine state for the past few editions.

For Frazier, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase his potential as a pro. Last season was the first time he emerged as the Tigers’ top tight end after trailing behind Rivaldo Fairweather the previous two seasons. Prior to the 2025 season, Frazier had just 12 catches for 121 yards and two touchdowns. His role on the team is more of blocking tight ends. These skills may be the best path forward for his career. He led the season with 13 catches for 97 yards but did not reach the end zone. His two career points came in the 2023 season. His best game that season came against LSU, a 48-18 loss in which he caught three passes for 52 yards and a touchdown.
Frazier is the type of player who is developing and would benefit from a league like the UFL where he could get actual game time. If he does make an NFL roster, it will likely be just a practice player and only play in the preseason. Auburn fans can see Frazier play again in the 2026 Hula Bowl on January 10th. The game will be televised live on the CBS Sports Network with a start time of 11 a.m. Central Time.
