Chelsea:

Chelsea will face Arsenal in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-finals.

We expected Liam Rogniol to be as strong as possible in this game, trying to overturn a 3-2 deficit in the first leg, and he did just that. The fact that he rested several players against West Ham on Sunday makes him even more capable of giving it his all here.

Roberto Sanchez is in goal and Wesley Fofana is partnered with Trevor Chalobah at centre-back. But beyond that, there are huge questions on defense as Reece James simply isn’t in the team.

That’s very surprising given he didn’t start Saturday. There must be an injury or illness that we don’t know about. It looked like a back three, with Jorel Hutto joining Chalobah and Fofana in the centre.

Gusteau and Marc Cucurella then served as full-backs.

In the midfield, Moises Caicedo and Andre Santos serve as double pivots, with Enzo Fernandez in front. Liam Delap and Joao Pedro are the forwards for 3412.

Ronnie Orr’s starting line-up has struggled in our last two games, but he’s managed to turn things around late in the game. This is another questionable move – but we’ll wait until it’s on the pitch to judge.

In other news…

David Datro Fofana has completed his loan move to Strasbourg, which is certainly a risk given his patchy loan history.

Liam Roney’s side conceded two goals against West Ham and could have been four goals behind at half-time. Jamie Carragher looks at why they’re in trouble and how Liam Rosenior can change things.
