Doubts have been raised over Declan Rice’s availability ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Bournemouth on Saturday.

Rice missed the Gunners’ previous game against Aston Villa due to knee swelling caused by a kick in the knee, and it is uncertain whether he will be back in time for the game against Bournemouth.

Arsenal fans will be grateful for his performance, as the midfielder then scored the team’s second and third goals in a narrow 3-2 win.

Supporters in the stands expressed their gratitude as they debuted a new song for Rice to the tune of “That’s the Way (I Like It)” by KC and the Sunshine Band.

The lyrics are as follows: “Declan rice, red and white, I like, uh-huh, uh-huh! Declan rice, red and white, I like, uh-huh, uh-huh! Do, do-do, do-do-do, do, do, do. Do, do-do, do-do-do, do, do, do.”

Arsenal fans have indeed begun to cheer for Rice, often singing “Declan Rice, we give him half price” at games.

The old slogan refers to Arsenal paying a club-record transfer fee for the former West Ham United midfielder, but he still appears to offer excellent value. His former manager David Moyes has repeatedly suggested West Ham should bring in more players.

The new slogan doesn’t need much explanation, but it’s fun and it’s always good to have a new song to sing in the stands.
