Ahead of the new league year, we’ll profile each player on the roster, reviewing their performance last season, their contract status and what they face in 2026.

Next up is outside linebacker Elliott Brown.

Elliot Brown 2025 Season

Brown is in training camp with the Cardinals after spending his first two seasons in the Canadian Football League with the Edmonton Elks. After being waived on August 26, he was signed to the training squad the next day, released on September 17, re-signed six days later, and played the rest of the season on the training squad. He did not play in any games and was signed after the season ended on January 5.

Elliot Brown contract status

If Brown makes the roster, his salary and cap charge through 2026 will be $885,000.

Elliott Brown’s offseason outlook

The Cardinals saw something in Brown and kept him on the practice squad nearly all season before bringing him back in the 2026 offseason. He has the ability, but based on other moves in the group, the likelihood of him earning a spot on the 53-man roster is slim.
