Alabama officially lands offensive lineman from NCAA transfer portal

Former Cal Poly offensive lineman Racin Delgatty has officially committed to Alabama, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

The 6-foot-4, 305-pound Delgatty is widely considered one of the top undrafted interior offensive linemen in the transfer portal and will almost certainly have a major impact on the Crimson Tide offense in 2026. Alabama has lost numerous starting tight ends in recent weeks to the NFL Draft and transfer portal, making Delgatty’s presence even more important.

Delgatti, a California native who had just one sack in 1,316 snaps while playing center at Cal Poly, will almost certainly provide a major boost to the Tide’s offensive line moving forward.

A former three-star recruit, Delgatti was rated the No. 179 interior offensive lineman in the Class of 2023 by 247Sports, but he quickly exceeded all expectations during his time at Cal Poly.

Delgatti will join the Tide with two years of eligibility remaining, as the offensive line will have a completely different look next season as Alabama accepts returning sophomore tackle Michael Carroll.

The Tide signed multiple players on both sides of the ball this past week, with Alabama officially adding much-needed veterans to its offensive line ahead of the 2026 season.
