An injured AEW star reportedly appeared to disappear from television on “AEW Dynamite: New Year’s Crush” on Wednesday after Ricochet successfully defended his national title. Jurassic Express half-body character Luchasaurus only made a brief appearance during the Zero Hour team-up match before Armageddon before being carried to the back by Bishop Cowan and finishing the game with his shoulder wrapped in tape, a new report suggesting the star suffered a shoulder injury.
According to Fightful Select, Lucasaurus has a legitimate shoulder injury and the star is expected to be out for some time. The outlet was unable to confirm the exact nature of the injury or whether surgery was required.

On Wednesday, Lucasaurus watched the national championship game against Ricochet from the sidelines with partner Jack Perry. He was knocked out by Toa Liona at ringside, and after the match, Liona and Kaun attacked him on stage. When Lucasaurus fell to the ground, Leona placed a ring barricade on his shoulders and hit it with a chair. As the security guards rushed out, Leona swung one of the men into the top of the barricade, landing on Frogsaurus’ injured arm.
