Milan hit back after half an hour and Davide Barsaj equalized. The 19-year-old defender opened up his second Serie A goal just after the break, finishing from a tight angle to seal the visitors’ score for Lauriente.
“We played a good game,” Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri said.
“People may think we dropped two points but I think we won one and that could be important,” he told DAZN.
“We still need to improve because we conceded too many goals. But we are in the top four, which was our goal at the beginning of the season.”

Milan, who have been ruled out for both games, are a point ahead but could be overtaken by Napoli and Inter Milan who then face Udinese.
Milan lead Napoli on goal difference into Sunday’s match, while third-placed Inter Milan can also overtake them based on the result against Genoa.
