By far the biggest new name on the list, though, is Jonathan Allen. The former first-round pick joined via free agency as a possible captain and mentor for a young group that also includes other first-round picks like Myles Murphy and Seamus Stewart.

The Bengals aren’t done adding to the defensive line just yet. They could use another spinner in the middle and on the edges. On the interior, maybe they still rename it “DJ Reader”. Just about any name can provide some pass-rushing depth on the edge.

Both positions also remain candidates for the 10th pick in the draft. Right now, that’s roughly how the depth chart looks based on how the team is listed.
