Where Clemson women’s basketball stands in March Madness bracket predictions

The Clemson women’s basketball team is expected to make its first appearance in the women’s NCAA tournament since 2019.

The Tigers (21-11) lost to Duke and were eliminated in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals on March 7. Since then, they’ve been waiting for Selection Sunday to find out their NCAA tournament seed.

Here’s where Clemson stands in the latest March Madness predictions ahead of the March 15 draft show (7 p.m. CT, ESPN).

Clemson women’s basketball March Madness predictions

ESPN’s Charlie Creme has Clemson as a No. 10 seed in his March 13 predictions. Nashville will be the host location.

The Athletic’s Eden Laase’s March 13 prediction also has Clemson as a No. 10 seed. In this prediction, they will host Iowa City in the first round against seventh-seeded Baylor.

CBS Sports projects Clemson as a No. 10 seed on March 9 and will face No. 7 seed Georgia in the first round.

Clemson women’s basketball resume, NET rankings

As of March 12, Clemson ranked No. 42 in the NET. The score in the Quad 1 game was 2-10, the score in the Quad 2 game was 3-2, the score in the Quad 3 game was 4-1, and the score in the Quad 4 game was 11-0.
