“I think unfortunately, prices are going to go up for a while before this is over,” Sen. Rick Scott explain As the U.S.-Iran conflict continues, Americans face rising costs, including for natural gas.
“If this conflict is resolved positively, I think prices will fall further,” he said.

While the end of the fighting and the resulting price drops is obviously welcome news, Donald Trump has not made it clear when this “conflict” will end. On the one hand, Trump said the operation would last “four to six weeks,” and later said “the war is very complete, almost.” Trump, on the other hand, said this week that he would hit Iran harder if necessary. So, at this point, no one is really sure.

Meanwhile, people are less than excited about what Senator Scott calls “unfortunately” rising prices, especially considering the man’s net worth is reportedly estimated to be over $500 million.
“Great mid-term message. Be inspired to get $500 million worth of people to deliver it,” one wrote.

People have also pointed out the hypocrisy since the Republican Party’s entire presidential campaign gambit was built on Trump’s vision of “keep prices down.”
