Four Cyclones scored in double figures, led by juniors Audie Crooks and Jada Williams’ 19 points. But it wasn’t enough, as Iowa State fell to Oklahoma State 88-77 on Wednesday at Hilton Coliseum.
Crooks scored in double figures for his 95th consecutive game, passing Bridget Carleton (2,142 points) and Angie Welle (2,149 points) on Iowa State’s all-time scoring list. The Algona native also grabbed seven of the Cyclones’ 27 rebounds.

Oklahoma State had a pair of Cowgirls score 20 or more points: Achol Akot scored 25 points and Stailee Heard scored 22 points.
The Cowgirls shot 14-of-19 from the free throw line, while Iowa State shot 11-of-15 from the line.
Sydney Harris, the only senior on the 2025-26 Cyclones women’s basketball roster, opened the scoring with a three-pointer. Teammates Addy Brown and Arianna Jackson each hit a long field goal to give Iowa State an early 9-0 lead, forcing Jacie Hoyt to call a timeout for the Cowgirls.
The Cyclones extended their lead to 13-3, and Oklahoma State responded with a 12-0 run.

Jadyn Wooten scored five of the Cowgirls’ six points in the final 3 minutes and 38 seconds of the first quarter, and the teams were tied at 18 after the first 10 minutes.
Iowa State led 31-24 with 5:06 left in the first half, but Oklahoma State responded again, this time with an 11-4 run to end the half and the half was tied at 35.
Harris gave the Cyclones a five-point lead with 5:36 left in the third quarter, but the Cowgirls went on an 11-1 run. Brown’s three-pointer with 30 seconds left in the third quarter gave Iowa State a final 60-58 lead.
Just like the previous two quarters, the Cyclones and Oklahoma State were tied, this time at 60.

At the beginning of the fourth quarter, the two teams made layups one after another, but a wave of 10-0 and a wave of 6-0 climax brought disaster to the Cyclones. BYU transfer guard Amari Whiting scored seven of his nine points in the fourth quarter, going 3-for-3 from the field and 1-for-1 from the free throw line.
Iowa State made 12 three-pointers, Harris had 4, Brown had 3, Jackson had 2, Kenzie Hale had 2, and Williams had 1.
Wooten came off the bench and scored 13 of the team’s 20 points off the bench to lead Oklahoma State to victory.
The Cyclones will travel to Kansas State for their final regular season game this Sunday at 1 p.m.
