Last summer, USC added veteran coach and former NFL offensive lineman Adrian Klemm to its coaching staff as an analyst. However, Clem is leaving after one year with the Trojans, and earlier this week it was reported that he had been hired as Alabama’s new offensive linemen coach.
Interestingly, Clem works as a defensive analyst for the Trojans. However, his background is on the offensive line. Clem serves as the offensive line coach for the New England Patriots in 2023, Oregon State in 2022 and the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2021.

Clem’s longest coaching career was at UCLA, where he served as offensive line coach and run game coordinator from 2012 to 2016. He played college football at Hawaii in the late 1990s and played six seasons in the NFL in the early 2000s, winning three Super Bowls with the New England Patriots.
Clem will replace Chris Kapilovich, who coached Alabama’s offensive line the past two seasons. He was fired by the Crimson Tide after their upset loss to eventual national champion Indiana in the Rose Bowl.
