Orlando Pride announce three more signings: Seven Castain, Cara Martin and Nicole Payne to One-Year Contracts

Today, the Orlando Pride announced the signing of three additional players to one-year contracts through 2026: Seven Castan, goalkeeper Kara Martin and defender Nicole Payne.

“We are looking to add depth and quality players to our roster ahead of the 2026 season, and we are excited to have Seven, Kara and Nicole join us,” said Orlando Pride head coach Seb Hines. “They all bring different strengths while still maintaining the versatility of the players we want to bring in. We look forward to integrating them into the team and helping them develop on and off the field.”

TCU star Casttain joins after four seasons in college. The senior forward from Utah earned 2025 Co-Football Coaches first-team All-America honors and reached the MAC Hermann Trophy semifinals. She tied the program’s single-season scoring record with 17 goals.

Georgetown goalkeeper Martin joins after being named the Big East Goalie of the Year as a junior and senior. She also earned third-team All-America honors her senior season with the Hoyas.

Payne joins after two seasons with the Portland Thorns. She played in 19 regular season games in 2024, but suffered a season-ending injury in the 2025 preseason. The former USC star also played for Paris Saint-Germain.
