Indiana football lands 4-star athlete, second commit of the day

A second All-American Bowl commitment brings another four-star player to the Indiana football team.

The Indians program has enjoyed success (26-2) under second-year coach Curt Cignetti, which has led to area recruiting wins. The latest news comes from Monsanna Torbert Jr., a four-star athlete in the Class of 2027 at Cincinnati Princeton High School (he transferred from Taft in December).

IU previously received a commitment from four-star receiver Ja’Hyde Brown out of Louisville during a tournament in San Antonio, Texas.

Torbert chose Indiana University over Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Iowa State and others. Here’s what else to know:
