According to WDEL, police in New Castle County, Delaware, were called to a home around 11:15 pm on Sunday to investigate a possible domestic dispute.
Inside, they found Linda Stevenson unresponsive. Despite efforts to resuscitate her, she was pronounced dead.
Linda Stevenson’s body has been transferred to the Delaware State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
No charges have been filed in the case, TMZ reports.
Bill Stevenson and Jill Jacobs divorced in 1975, and Linda Stevenson married Bill Stevenson nearly 40 years ago.
Jacobs marries former president Joe Biden 1977.
Bill Stevenson is the former owner of The Stone Balloon, a popular bar at the University of Delaware that opened in 1972. The bar was later named “one of the top 100 college bars in America” by Playboy magazine, according to the magazine’s website.
