DELTA, Colo. (KREX) – The Delta Police Department executed search warrants at two different suspected illegal gambling dens.
At approximately 11 a.m. Friday, law enforcement executed warrants at the Bee Hive (220 Main St.) and Time To Go Fishin’ (721 Highway 50 #C). An arrest was made, but the person was not named in the release.
The Delta Police Department would like to thank the Seventh Judicial District Attorney’s Office, Delta County Sheriff’s Office, Olathe Police Department, Montrose Police Department and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation for their assistance in this case.
“The Delta Police Department takes this situation very seriously and recognizes the danger to our community. All criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless proven guilty,” DPD said in a release.
Meanwhile, the Olathe Police Department and the Central Bureau of Investigation executed a search warrant at a business suspected of illegal gambling.
