Ukraine is domestically developing combat drones for industrial series production in Germany, Ukrainian drone maker Frontline Robotics and German defense company Quantum Systems said on Monday.
The companies announced on Monday at the German-Ukrainian Economic Forum in Berlin that the production was being carried out on behalf of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.
Matthias Lehna, head of the joint venture Quantum Frontline Industries, talked about tens of thousands of drones being built every year.

The project is “Europe’s first fully automated, industrial-scale foreign drone production line for the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the company said.
The battlefield-tested Linza logistics drone, Zoom reconnaissance drone, and Buria remote-controlled machine gun and grenade launcher will all be produced at the German factory.
This cooperation is part of the Ukrainian government’s “Building with Ukraine” initiative.
Kiev is trying to move some of Ukraine’s weapons production to safe European countries to avoid disruption from Russian attacks.
