Tennessee is recruiting its 2027 football signing class.
Four-star cornerback Montre Jackson ranks Tennessee among his top eight schools, along with Oklahoma, Texas, SMU, Mississippi State, Texas Tech, Texas A&M and Duke, according to On3’s Sam Spiegelman.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound prospect comes out of Lakeview Centennial High School in Garland, Texas. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 19 cornerback in the class and the No. 23 player in the state of Texas.
Tennessee offered Jackson a scholarship on April 29, 2025. He will officially visit Tennessee on June 19.
Texas Tech is the first school to offer Jackson a scholarship on December 30, 2023. Other Big Four schools offering scholarships to Jackson include Baylor, Illinois, Houston, Mississippi State, TCU, Minnesota, Florida State, Pittsburgh, Oklahoma State, Syracuse, Purdue, Kansas, Vanderbilt, Maryland, Kansas State, Wake Forest, Arizona State, Arkansas, Nebraska, LSU, Stanford and Virginia Tech.
Tennessee has four players in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo and defensive lineman Kadin Fife.
