Ellis on his commitment to Louisville
Isaac Ellis took an unofficial visit to Louisville on Saturday and committed to the program. He discusses the decision to choose “Cards with Rivals.”
“I love the culture and the whole staff here…everyone preaches family and culture, but you can smell it when they’re pretending. On my visit, I can tell everything they preach, what they live by, it’s a super great culture, full of energy and very high standards.”

Pat Kelsey played a big role in Ellis’ commitment.
“This is not your average college basketball locker room or practice, everything is very detailed and they do things at a very high level in every aspect. I love Coach Pat, he’s a competitive guy every day and he always brings energy to his players. He’s who he is and he’s comfortable with that and that’s who I want to play for.”
Louisville’s culture played a big role in his decision, and ultimately, it was just an opportunity he couldn’t turn down.
“It’s a super winning culture in every aspect of what they do. That’s what I want to be a part of…I’m grateful to the coaches for giving me this opportunity and I’m excited to be a part of this family.”
