Tennessee is recruiting its 2027 football signing class.
Hayes Fawcett of On3 says four-star linebacker Roman Igwebuike has Tennessee in his top 12 schools, along with Miami, USC, Clemson, Indiana, Missouri, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Mississippi State and Florida State.

The 6-foot-3, 220-pound prospect comes from Mount Carmel High School in Chicago, Illinois. 247Sports ranks him as the sixth-ranked linebacker in his class and the fourth-ranked player in the state of Illinois.
Tennessee offered Igwebuke a scholarship on March 13, 2025, but has yet to visit the Vols.
Illinois was the first school to offer him a scholarship on January 10, 2025. Other Power Four schools offering Igwebuike scholarships include Iowa State, Syracuse, Purdue, Louisville, Minnesota, Kansas State, Wisconsin, Vanderbilt, Michigan State, Arizona State, Oregon, Kansas, Iowa, Boston College, North Carolina, Texas, Washington State, Florida, North Carolina, Maryland, Arkansas, West Virginia, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Georgia Tech, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Nebraska and Oklahoma State.
Tennessee has four players in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, defensive lineman Kadin Fife and quarterback Derrick Baker.
