As the game Fantasy Football shows us, the world of football includes more than what we see on the pitch. What started out as a regular game called standard scoring has grown into a game with variables like daily sports, guillotine leagues, and survivor pools.
However, today we will discuss one of the most popular angles: dynasty. Specifically, we’ll focus on dynasty rookies because this type of league allows players to assume the role of general manager and their criticism often comes from making roster decisions themselves 365 days a year.

In this article, we continue our series in which we look at dynasty rookies and where they rank after the All-Star break in recent weeks. The final position group we’ll look at is tight end, whose potential falls under the radar.
So as we get closer to the scouting combine, we’re going to mention the top five tight ends as it relates to their current dynasty potential.
5) Josh Cuevas, Alabama
59% of Snaps are played inline
Josh Cuevas may not have a lot of hype or fans this draft cycle, but he is one of the most underrated players on the 2025 Alabama offense. He excels as a run and pass blocker, which is why he lines up inside as much as possible, but he’s also an underrated receiver. His route running needs some work, and he’s not the most explosive player in space. He makes up for it all with strong hands, making him one of those targets that quarterbacks can trust.

4) Max Clare, Ohio State University
46.3% of Snaps are inline
Max Klare entered the year with a lot of hype after transferring from Purdue to Ohio State. The Ohio State offense didn’t get as much use out of him as one might have hoped, in part because of the presence of Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate. Still, he has a chance to become a better pro and develop some due to his athletic style and well-developed route running and route running tree. Clare could be a fun stash and fit into the offense quickly.
3) Michael Trigg, Baylor
64.7% of Snap plays are in slot machines
Michael Trigg has some issues running routes and blocking, but I rate him highly because his athleticism and high-point ability are better than most in his class. He plays more in the slot, which seems to be his best position as he thrives in space. Trigg won’t be on everyone’s board, nor will he be that high, but his playmaking potential leads me to believe a team will plan on using his skills when drafting him.

2) Eli Stowers, Vanderbilt University
55.1% of Snap plays are in slot machines
Eli Stowers’ transition from quarterback to tight end looks smooth. He has a lot of space, good acceleration and running vision, which is unusual for a guy at this position. Could that last one come from his past life as a quarterback? Maybe. Regardless, Stowers should be drafted into the NFL as a starting tight end, and in fantasy, he could be a sneaky option in 2026 if you need an immediate return on investment.
1) Kenyon Sadiq, Oregon
41.5% of Snap plays are in slot machines
Kenyon Sadiq still has some room to grow as a tight end and overall player. Sadiq was supposed to have this big year, but it never happened. However, he continues to prove that he is the best tight end in the country and that he fits the NFL’s requirements for the position. He can be a first-round pick and is projected to be one of the best tight ends in the NFL over the next 2-3 years. He has strong hands, can make defenders miss with or without the ball, and has some excellent blocking ability.
