EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Two people were arrested Saturday, January 3, for starting a fight and assaulting four women at a home in Far East El Paso on Christmas Day, according to the El Paso Police Department (EPPD).
At 6:30 a.m. Thursday, December 25, police responded to an assault at a residence in the 13000 block of Alfredo Apodaca Avenue.
According to EPPD, a preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects, 32-year-old Joshua Aaron Theocharides and 32-year-old Raquel Maria Cazares, got into an argument with four female victims aged 23 to 27 after they arrived at the scene.

EPPD added that during the incident, Casares assaulted one of the victims and Theocarides pulled out a handgun, pointed it at the victims and struck them with the weapon before they ran away.
Investigators identified two suspects and obtained arrest warrants. They were both arrested about two weeks later.
Casares was charged with assault causing bodily harm and Theokalides was charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. They are all being held at the El Paso County Detention Facility.
