PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Mika Zibanejad had two goals and an assist and the New York Rangers scored on three power plays as they beat the Philadelphia Flyers 6-2 on Monday night.
Noah Raba and Alexis Lafrenier each had a goal and an assist. Gabe Perrott and Vladislav Gavrikov also scored for the Rangers, who won for the third time in five games. Igor Shesterkin made 32 saves.

Matvey Michkov and Sean Couturier scored for the Flyers. Dan Vladar allowed six goals on 24 shots and was replaced by Samuel Ersson at the start of the third period. Elson made three saves and was relieved.
The Rangers struck early and scored consecutively. Laba fired a shot from close range at 1:04 of the game and Vladar was unable to control the puck after a glove save. Zibanejad scored his first goal on the charge at 13:07 and Lafreniere scored New York’s first power-play goal with 38 seconds left in the first period.
Michkov helped the Flyers tie the game at 3:54 of the second period, but the Rangers fought back. Less than three minutes later, Perrott scored with a personal advantage. Zibanejad scored on a power play and Gavrikov added another within 20 seconds at the end of the first half.
Couturier scored at 15 minutes and 28 seconds of the third quarter.

New York defenseman Uhro Vaakanainen saw 15 minutes, 18 seconds of ice time after being scratched five games into the game. Matt Rempe (upper body), JT Miller (upper body) are out for the Rangers, and forward Taylor Raddysh is out for his father’s funeral.
Travis Konecny and Nick Seeler return to the Flyers. Konecny leads Philadelphia with 23 goals and 57 points, but he missed three games with an upper-body injury. Siler missed two games with a lower-body injury suffered in Monday’s win over Toronto a week ago.
