Logan Paul’s meteoric rise to fame in WWE impressed many veterans in the industry, who were shocked by how he transitioned into professional wrestling after becoming a YouTuber. So, it’s safe to say that Paul hasn’t been criticized for his sales behavior, but during an episode of his “IMPAULSIVE” podcast, he claimed it was something he wanted to do – after revealing that WWE CCO Paul Levesque recently asked him to change his appearance.
“He told me to grow my hair out. It was a very light suggestion and I took it too seriously,” Paul claimed. “He said, ‘Would you consider growing your hair long? It would create movement.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, I totally understand. “You know what I’m going to start focusing on? Sales. Selling is an art. I’m not sure how many people, even me, are going to focus on it that much.” (Per: Battle).

Although Paul is now focused on sales, he has boldly stated in the past that he believes he was born to wrestle. In an interview with Sports Illustrated, the former WWE United States Champion looked back on his life and noted how every skill he developed over the years has slowly and surely led him into the professional wrestling industry, from showmanship to storytelling to improving the physicality of the sport.
