WWE ‘Smackdown’ Moves to SyFy Channel for Two Weeks: Here’s How to Watch Online Without Cable

“WWE SmackDown” got a temporary new home on Friday night due to the 2026 Winter Olympics.

“SmackDown” normally airs on USA Network, but the channel has switched to 24/7 Olympic programming until February 22nd. Most scripted programming on USA Network will be on hiatus during the Olympics, but since “WWE SmackDown” is a weekly live event – held in front of a live audience – it will have to find a new temporary broadcast center.

Want to watch Friday Night SmackDown? You can find the shows airing on February 13th and February 20th now on the Syfy Channel. You can watch “SmackDown” on your TV with any cable package that includes specialty channels. The show’s start time remains unchanged, airing at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.

The move from USA Network to Syfy will not affect “SmackDown’s” air dates or schedule. The show still airs every Friday at 8pm and the broadcast time is still 3 hours.

SmackDown returns to the United States as usual, starting on February 27, with the show airing the night before the Elimination Chamber premium live event in Chicago.
