2K announced on Tuesday that WWE 2K25 will be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 this month. The wrestling game was released on PC, PlayStation and Xbox platforms in March and will be released on Switch 2 on July 23. The game is now available for pre-order on the Nintendo eShop. 2K also detailed the new console version as well as pre-order benefits and features, and released the first trailer for the Switch 2 version of the game.

“WWE 2K25” is coming to Switch 2

On Nintendo Switch 2, WWE 2K25 will be available in Standard Edition, Dead Man Edition, and Bloodline Edition, just like on other platforms. 2K confirmed that the Switch 2 version of the game will support all WWE 2K25 game modes and match types available on other consoles. These include the “Island” open world mode, which allows players to roam four areas and take on missions and challenges, and was previously only available on PS5 and Xbox Series S/X.

Other modes such as 2K Showcase, MyGM, MyFaction, MyRise and Universe will also be available in the port.

The standard version of WWE 2K25 on Switch 2 is priced at $69.99 and comes with the base game. Switch 2 players who pre-order the standard version will receive the Wyatt Sicks Pack, which includes five playable WWE Superstars and island mode cosmetics.

The Deadman Edition costs $99.99 and includes everything that comes with the standard edition, plus the Deadman Edition bonus pack, which includes the Mattel Elite “Greatest Hits” Undertaker and Original Undertaker (’90) character cards and playable Superstars, usable Urn items, The Island, and Brother Love Manager’s Undertaker ’95 mask cosmetics. This version also includes the Season Pass and 15,000 VC (in-game currency) for all five post-launch DLC character packs.

Finally, The Bloodline Edition costs $129.99 and includes the Ringside Pass and The Rock Nation of Domination Pack, which includes Rock Nation of Domination character cards and playable Superstars, along with all the content included in the Standard and Deadman Editions of WWE 2K25. The Bloodline Edition also comes with a bonus pack containing the Mattel Elite Series 114 Jey Uso and Mattel Elite “Greatest Hits” Roman Reigns Persona cards and playable Superstars, as well as select cosmetics for Island Mode.

2K says the version will also add the WrestleMania 41 Pack at a later date, which will include WrestleMania 41 Arena, two WrestleMania 41 Superstar Persona cards and playable Superstars, and a new playable Superstar.

When Nintendo fully launched the Nintendo Switch 2 in April, the “WWE 2K” series was confirmed to be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2. The wrestling game first released on March 14 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X.

The Nintendo Switch 2 launches on June 5 with a handful of first-party games. However, the hybrid console has received strong support from third-party developers, with several hit games on day one, including Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, Split Fiction, and more. Later this month, Nintendo will launch Donkey Kong Bananza exclusively on Switch 2.
