Winger about to confirm he’s going to replace Mo Salah

Liverpool have decided to back their manager, meaning Salah could end up leaving the club. This was always inevitable due to his age.

It seems unlikely that he will fulfill the remaining two years of his contract. Liverpool would obviously like to cash in on him at some point.

Still, it’s surprising how quickly it happened. At this stage, it is entirely possible that Salah will be allowed to leave the club in the January transfer window.

That would be disappointing. This means his final game could be against Brighton, a game in which his replacement could also be announced.

Looking at the current market, there are not many players ready to replace Salah. But Yankuba Minteh has an exciting and promising young talent.

The Gambian’s pace and directness and his ability as a coordinator up front make him an ideal fit for Liverpool. He is exactly what the club should be looking for to replace Salah.

The 21-year-old can confirm he is the man to replace Salah after a superb performance at Anfield on Saturday in what, ironically, could be the Egyptian’s final game.

We have seen what a strong performance on this hallowed ground can do for a player. Sadio Mane, Takumi Minamino and Dalvin Nunez all impressed against Liverpool before arriving at the club.

Minter could be next and it would also help that he already has a relationship with Slaughter, having played for Feyenoord before.

The Brighton star simply ticks all the boxes. He is the man who can solve Liverpool’s right-wing position for the next decade and he is about to prove it.
